Description
The high pressure casting machines are producing a big variety of preferably irregular shaped resp. nonround ceramic articles by solid- and/or drain casting. All of the numerous benefits which are well known for this technology are fufilled accordingly with respect to an enormous increase of capacity and quality.
The porous working mould is tightly held together by means of the closing unit and carefully filled with slip. Afterwards the application of the casting pressure is effected. After completing the casting time (wall thickness) the mould is opened by the use of compressed air. Thereafter by a vacuum sucker or special demoulding device the article is received from the other mould part.
